Gaming Supermarket Blackjack has developed a system that finds people who play blackjack the top free cash deals that are available with famous online casinos. The affiliate portal Gaming Supermarket, which hit the market earlier this year, has created the functionality to help online blackjack players find the offers which don’t carry any catches.

Gaming Supermarket only displays secure online gaming portals, which includes the likes of William Hill and Ladbrokes, and already has over £80 in free money offers which players can claim immediately. What differentiates the system from the many other sites that offer a similar bonus finder… Gaming Supermarket only lists people the promotions which don’t require an initial deposit to be made.

Manager of Gaming Supermarket, Jason Smith, said:

“With our innovative functionality, players can clearly see where they can claim free money without having to make any initial deposits”.

While Gaming Supermarket develops tools for online gamers, a college student, who resides in Dundee, has created a PC program which, he claims, can aid the combat of see an end to counting cards at bricks and mortar casinos.

The recent news story, distributed via the BBC, suggested that a college student, studying in Dundee, has developed a computer application that can monitor blackjack tables with such precision that it can spot card counters or mistakes made by the dealers. The computer application looks at the dealers card distribution and assesses the decisions that are made by the players at the table.

The Grand National is held annually at Aintree in Liverpool and was established in 1839. This year’s event will be in April, the event is always televised and tickets are already available for those who want to buy them.

Red Rum is one of the most famous horses to have taken part in the race. He entered the record books when he scored the treble, winning the near five mile race for the third time in 1977 with an injured foot. Red Rum died in 1995 and there is now a statue in his honour. Red Rum was buried at the course at Aintree. Jenny Pittman became the first and only female trainer to ever win the Grand National. Her first win was in 1983 and she had to wait 12 years for another win, coming first again in 1995. Tom Oliver is the Jockey to have taken part in the National more than any other participant He entered a total of 18 races and he also won three of them. Geraldine Rees became famous as the first ever female Jockey to finish the race and George Stevens is the Jockey to have won the National more times than anyone else, a record five times. The course has a number of enclosures and among these are the Queen Mother stand and the Princess Royal Stand. Royals often attend the event and the Queen Mother was well known for her love of Horse Racing.

Betting on the Grand National is as popular as ever and Bookmakers are already taking bets for this year’s race. The National has had some interesting results in the past, only four favourites have won the race and also four winners who were 100/1 at the start of the race. Aside from its Racing, the Grand National is also known for its Ladies Day where women will come to the races dressed in their best outfits and hats, some of which can be pretty unusual. The Ladies Day always gets plenty of coverage and a lot of attention from Fashion Critics and makes the event all the more enjoyable, not to mention colourful. This year’s Grand National will begin on the 2nd of April and end on April the 4th. The event brings additional income to the nearby towns and even with the Credit Crunch on, looks set to be as popular as ever.

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt has just claimed his 2nd Olympic Gold Medal, and 2nd World Record, in the 200m final in Beijing. Bolt will now be looking to make it a trio of medals in the Men’s 4×100m relay final this weekend.

Despite on paper the US team having an overall better relay team, Bolt’s Jamaican team go into the race as hot favourite. It’s expected Bolt will take on the last leg of the relay and unless the USA open up a gap of at least 5 metres experts predict the express train that is Usain Bolt will close the gap and take the Gold.

Odds on the exchanges go as short as 2/5 on a Jamaican team victory in the 4×100m relay with the USA coming in at 11/4.

The first week of the new Premier League season certainly lived up to all the hype and expectation that had been building up throughout the summer. New boys Hull City were riding the crest of a wave after having a storming finish to last season’s Championship campaign which resulted in a play-off final win at Wembley. Their first task in the top flight was against Fulham, who survived the drop last year by the skin of their teeth, and they battled from behind to record an historic 2-1 victory.

Other newly-promoted sides Stoke city and West Brom were not so lucky, falling at the hands of Bolton and Arsenal respectively. Arsenal were not the only ‘big four’ side to grab all three points from their opening game, with Liverpool and Chelsea both winning. But Man Utd could only draw at home to Newcastle, a result that will hurt the Red Devils’ pride so early on in the season. Prior to the game odds as high as 5/1 could have been had for a draw.

Immediately following the game Chelsea quickly became bookmakers favourite for the title at Evens. Manchester United can now be snapped up at 2/1. We still firmly believe United can retain there crown, so have a punt while the monies good.

Another big result came at Goodison Park, where Everton, who were very strong last season and came close to breaking the ‘glass ceiling’ that separates the top of the Premiership from the rest, were sunk by a 92nd minute Blackburn goal to give the Lancastrians all three points. A lot has been made of Blackburn manager Paul Ince’s move to the Premiership from League One new-boys MK Dons, with some Rovers players being unhappy with the new techniques employed by the young manager. This weekend’s result will surely have silenced any critics for the time-being.

The question on everyone’s lips is whether English teams can continue their dominance of Europe into the new season.

Last year, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all reached the semi-finals, setting up an all-English final between the former two. Man Utd enter this year’s competition as favourites at a generous 6/1 – a bet seeming more tempting now that it seems Ronaldo is staying. Chelsea and Real Madrid closely follow those at 13/2 and 15/2 respectively, both squads having strengthened and the new approach of Scolari maybe succeeding where Mourinho and Grant fell short.

Some tempting outsider sport betting prices include Fiorentina at 33/1, who finished strongly in Serie A last season and also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup. A more realistic punt might be on Liverpool at 12/1 who should comfortably get through the qualifying stages and have a history of strong European performances.

This seasons Challenge Cup final will be taking place on August 30th between St. Helens and Hull. Hull go into the fixture as massive underdogs and can be had as long as 4/1 with 888Sport to lift the trophy, while St. Helens are 1/7.

SportBetting101 thinks the online betting odds are certainly making Hull a very tempting gamble. Having lost twice to Saints this season, it’s clear where the thinking is on the odds – but Hull FC ran them close on both occasions.

The game will be going out live on BBC one at 2.30pm.

But what about Ronaldo seeing out his current contract? It expires in 2012 and you won’t find odds any better than 1/25 on him still being a red devil come that time. Bet365 don’t even see him still being there in 2010 and price him at 1/2 to have left the club by August transfer deadline in 2009.

Meanwhile WillHill will give you 5/6 on Ronaldo being a Real Madrid player for the start of the 2009/10 season. The same site offers 6/4 on him still playing for United and 9/2 on any other club.

Gerard Pique (defender) – This 21-year-old central defender has already had a strong taste of first-team football, having played 12 times in the English Premier League for Manchester United and 22 times for Zaragoza in La Liga.

He rejoined his boyhood club Barcelona in May 2008 and despite only representing his country once at Under-21 level, I feel this composed defender has a bright future ahead of him; especially having learnt from one of the greats – Rio Ferdinand – at Manchester United.

Whether or not Pique breaks into the FC Barcelona first team this season is unsure, but the team finishing in the top 3 seems almost certain. So at 1/9 the odds may seem long, but it’s an excellent bet for those who are willing to take the gamble.

Yet to turn 18 years of age, this Spanish-born Serb has already chosen to represent his country of birth at Under-17 and Under-21 level. Bojan scored a record 800 goals in 7 seasons as part of Barcelona’s youth team with his notable dribbling skills giving him an edge on any defender. Here at SportBetting101 we can see him becoming one of the best strikers in the world, especially when he hits his peak in around 6 or 7 years time.

Already bookmakers have taken note of the youngster, pricing him in at relatively short odds of 16/1 to pick up the Top Scorer award this coming season.

We think not, but for any optimists amongst you Bet365 will give you 151/1 on ANY nation other than USA, China or Russia winning. Why? Because quite simply no other country can possibly match those 3 nations in terms of number of athletes competing, giving them an unbeatable chance of finishing top of the pile. You’ll get pretty much even odds on either USA or China winning the most medals, with Russia between 15/1 and 20/1.

So, aside from choosing who will top the medals table (let’s be honest, there isn’t much choice!) where should your money be going? We’ve picked out the pick of the bets.

The 100m final always attracts a lot of online betting action, and with 3 runners closely matched leading in to the Olympic finals the bookmakers are having a tough time picking a favourite.

Here at SportBetting101 we can’t see past the man who has always promised but never delivered; Asafa Powell. Aside from his victory over an easy field in the 2006 commonwealth games, Powell has a relatively blank medals slate (Bronze at the 2005 World Championships). After putting in several sub-10 second runs in the 2004 Olympic qualifying rounds he went on to finish a lowly 5th in the final. But this time around, after losing the World Record to Bolt earlier in the year, Powell is surely going to be hungrier than ever for success? Skybet go 5/2 on a Powell gold, which simply can’t be turned down.

Elsewhere in the games look out for Chris Hoy in the men’s cycling sprint. While he may be the favourite, you can still pick up odds of 10/11 on Hoy winning goldwith Ladbrokes.

Meanwhile the event which always throws up a lot of shocks is sure to once again surprise, but backing Brazil at 5/2 seems like a smart bet.
